Happy half-birthday Baby Dru!

So, my precious lil man is a whole half of a year! It is truly amazing how much he has changed. The way he looks, behaves and gets around. He break dances! haha- When put on the floor he'll do a complete 360. Whether he is on his belly or back. He is really close to being able to crawl. He will scoot and he will push himself with his toes. He grabs for everything- including my hair! He's like a claw machine. Sometimes he drops his toys on the floor. In which case, I will bend down and holding him close to his toy and he picks it up. CLAW MACHINE! Ha ha.
He has a favorite toy now. Baby Ogre. You know from Shrek? He can be getting fussy and bored playing with toys, but the second he sees Baby Ogre coming his way he lights up. He kisses him and sucks on the little patch of red hair on the top of the stuffed animal's head.
In the beginning of the summer when I would take him down to the pool he would mellow out. Just chill in the water. Now he splashes and smiles and expresses that he's having fun. And everyone loves him down their. Like I said, he's charming.
He smiles out of the blue a lot. Used to we had to try really hard to get him to smile. Now he laughs a lot and smiles at virtually nothing. I can be writing something down and when I look over he's giving me a toothy grin.
Oh yea, and he has two teeth now! First tooth June 26th, second tooth was on July 3rd! Now he's chewing on his fingers with his side gums... I think that's where the next tooth will be.

I just love him so much. I can't believe it's already been a whole 6 months. I love him. It is amazing to be able to watch him grow like this. He gets excited now when he sees certain people. I love it when I get home from somewhere and he starts kicking his little legs and squealing for me. He also holds his arms out for me. He clings when I have him up close. Wraps his arms around me when I'm kissing on him. When he wakes up in the morning and sees my face for the the first time in hours- Man, the look and smile he gives me... it is the most beautiful thing in the world and no matter how old he gets I will never forget that face.

Ah, I love him.
