Dru's temp was 101.5 yesterday and he had to come home. This morning it was 100.4. I need to check it again when he wakes from his nap. I hope he feels better. He's such a bum when he's not feeling good. :(
I feel bad for him.

NEW!
Dru is stating sentences!
This is pretty big. He has been saying "Hold me" all week. And, today he said "Mommy hug". Putting two words together is new. We also count together. He can make it to three by himself. After three he starts to repeat what I say. There are 15 steps up to my apartment and we count every single one every time I let him walk up or down them. It is adorable to hear him say eight, nine, and so on. Fifteen is "fitten." Eleven is "lebben". His favorite number is two. He draws it out and says it in a sing-song tone. Which is convenient because he is turning two in a couple weeks. So, when I ask him how old he's gonna be he says it all cute. Yesterday though I asked him how old he was after he said "two" a million times and he said, "FOUR". I was like... NOOOO! ..............Liar :)
I find myself with more time with him. I soak it up. It's fun. He's a sweety. NOT a little shit like someone once said! Ugh. I'll never forget that. I want to, but I can't. He's my baby, and he's awesome.
His birthday party is going to be a doggy theme. I bought a bunch of little dog bowls and my friend Stacie is making puppy chow. We are going to have the kids eat the puppy chow out of the dog bowls without hands! It will be funny. My nephews will love it. I am also going to take a bunch of head bands and make dog ears for them. I have a sewing machine now. It will be easy. I'll make enough for all the kiddos. Kodak moment anyone? Ha! All I have to do now is make some cute invites. He had a "half-birthday" pool party at six months. His first birthday was "mommy's little rock star" this one is gonna be cute too. I'm inviting his other side of the family this time. They are grateful so I hear. I'm excited.
More updates to come!
