Dru is funny

I just gave the little guy a whole piece of bread and he has eaten it all! Good lil guy! Now he's chowing down on snacks....
Billy said he pulled up onto his feet yesterday! Yay! I was at the tanning place dangit- I missed it! Billy also had the baby while I went out last night. I picked him up at 12:30 am! Ugh. I really wish Billy would get his own apartment and a playpen so that the baby can sleep over with him. I felt a little bad for our baby boy having to wake up in the middle of the night. Two nights in a row too. I took him with me for that 5 am trip to office depot yesterday! He's gonna sleep good tonight though. I won't be waking him up tonight.

Anyways- I can't wait to blog about last night! So- I'm off to my other blog now!

Pretty good. I had fallen in love with a little baby Dru I was cookin' up in my belly :)

DRU... I rearranged the living room and when he crawled in the room he had the funniest look on his face.

Little Dru-ski

Is napping right now. I have no idea why though. He slept 14 hours last night and didn't wake up until 11. When he woke up I nursed him, but he got sick :( Poor little guy. He was really difficult all day yesterday. He was getting into everything and I would just pick him up and take him into another room. Only for him to turn right back around and crawl back to whatever he was getting into. I even had to put the fake tree out on the balcony. He was pulling stuff out of the base of it and eating it. He had to crawl under the kitchen table to get to the fake tree so every time I had to go get him I had to squeeze under it too. He did it about a dozen times. Drove me crazy. Then he kept going to my cd wall after the tree was gone and pulling the cds down. Anyways- I just had a rough Baby Dru day yesterday and when he woke up and threw up all over me.... Can't have two bad baby days in a row- I just called Billy since it is his day off. He will take the baby and I will chill out.

After the baby went down for bed last night I had a good night though ;) I ended a stressful day perfectly.

The Search Is Over

That is right folks, the daycare search is over. I shopped for my last daycare today. A place called New Horizons. It was a new building- I liked how the rooms looked. I walked in and the Director introduced herself and told me she would be a minute. One minute turned into ten and I watched my surroundings. I had a baby room to my right and one just ahead of me. Throughout the entire ten minutes I was waiting the lady in the room to my right did not say a single word to any of the children. I was kind of looking forward to my child being socialized while in daycare :( The room ahead of my had a half door. I could see the top of a crib from my sitting postition. When it started to move I wondered why it was moving. Sure enough a baby had tried to pull himself up and the crib fell on top of him. It gets worse- The caretaker in that room said to the injured child, "Well, you're the one who dumped the crib on top of yourself." Ugh! I wasn't happy. I wanted to just walk out, but I went ahead and let the woman give me the tour. During the tour I told her what all I witnessed. She showed me both the rooms that I wouldn't ever want my son staying and then a third room. In that room there was a young girl playing games with the kids and another girl feeding, talking to and holding a tiny baby. I loved that room. I asked the woman if I was to bring Dru there could I pick the room. She said no and that it would depend on where the openings were. And of course, the openings were in the two rooms I witnessed hell in. No daycare for Dru. He is going to stay home with me and I don't care if I get evicted haha! I give up. I'll just work more nights when Billy can take Dru.

Not a good day.

A vote and a half for McCain please

I had to take Dru with me to the Church to vote today. Everyone fell in love with him. He sat in his stroller for an entire hour before getting fussy. Surprised everyone- especially me. There was a woman behind me that held him while I placed my vote. We share last names too. Except she is a Mrs. There was an asian couple in front of me that were playing with Dru a lot. The Asian lady was tiny- I mean really tiny. She played with Dru's "piggies." Even sang him a song in another language. (Probably Vietnamese.) He liked everyone too. Until we entered the church doors. We waited about an hour outside and then 20 minutes inside in line. The 20 minutes was the hard part, but everyone was trying to entertain him. All the conversations around me were about where people lived and homeschooling and sports. Not a single one was about the election. Weird huh? I shared with the couple in front of me and the Mrs. Baker behind me that it was my first time to vote. Then they shared who they had voted for in their first elections. (all republicans btw) I was getting a little discouraged because most of my family and my friends are voting Obama. I kinda feared I was going to suffer from the wasted vote syndrome, but at the polling site everyone was pretty much voting for McCain. (We are on the north side- It makes sense.)

and MAN! I wish my last name started with an M-Z - That line wasn't even half the length of the A-L ! Bummer!
